A tremendous amount of energy and water is demanded within our campus. We are committed to taking necessary actions according to TRNC Energy Efficiency Strategy 2015-2023. In parallel with national policy, our target is aimed to reduce the amount of energy consumed per gross domestic product by 20% and reduce our CO2 emissions by 10% compared to 2012 levels. For this aim, we aimed to increase the awareness on the use our resources effectively and reduce the consumption of resources. In order to reduce our impacts, we have started refurbishment of our existing buildings with energy and water-efficient facilities and fittings respectively. Sustainability is the main theme for our future buildings. Therefore, we have an integrated design team to maximize the efficiency from the energy and water point of view. In addition, our commitment includes the introduction of more renewable energy options on the campus. We are committed to reducing our energy and water use further.
