We do our best to protect and enhance natural habitats and biodiversity on our campuses. With regards to this, we aim to improve the quality of the environment throughout the campus thus, EUL takes the advantage of having a citta-slow environment and have access to mother nature. Our main campus hosts various birds, insects, reptiles in order to enrich the ecological environment. We also aim to enhance the well-being of our students and increase environmental sensitivity through diversity projects. Here are some actions for the improvement of biodiversity around the campus:

• Preserve and improve existing local habitats,
• Planting schemes provide opportunities for students to plant and water their plants throughout the year encouraging wildlife activities,
• Guided nature tours where students are able to discover the natural beauties of Lefke,
• Trips to orchards,
• Implementing boxes for swallow and other local birds.
