EUL prioritizes pedestrian access through its walkable and student-friendly campus design. The campus layout is compact and interconnected, allowing students, staff, and visitors to easily move between academic buildings, dormitories, and social areas on foot. Wide pedestrian pathways, green walking areas, and restricted vehicle access within central parts of the campus enhance safety and encourage walking as the primary mode of movement. This design supports EUL’s sustainability goals by reducing traffic congestion, minimizing carbon emissions, and promoting a healthy lifestyle among its community members
The university encourages cycling through bicycle parking areas and provides free shuttle bus services operating seven days a week between the campus and surrounding towns and villages. These services are available both to students and personnel, ensuring that all members of the university community have a convenient and environmentally friendly alternative to private car use. The dedicated free bus service for staff further reduces individual vehicle dependency and supports EUL’s sustainability goals.
