SDG 2 – Zero hunger
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture
What is SDG 2?
Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2) is dedicated to ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture. The United Nations aims to ensure that everyone, everywhere, has access to enough safe and nutritious food to lead a healthy life.
The United Nations’ Objectives
The United Nations envisions a world where no one goes to bed hungry, and all individuals have access to the nutrition they need for a healthy and productive life. SDG 2 addresses the need for sustainable agricultural practices, resilient food distribution systems, and equitable distribution of resources to end hunger and improve overall well-being.
