What is SDG 4?
Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) is dedicated to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all. The United Nations aims to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, promote literacy, and ensure that everyone has access to quality education, regardless of gender or socioeconomic background.
The United Nations’ Objectives
The United Nations envisions a world where everyone has access to a quality education that fosters personal development, critical thinking, and the acquisition of essential skills. SDG 4 addresses the need for inclusive and accessible education, from early childhood to higher education, to empower individuals and promote sustainable development.

Through teaching, inclusive practices, research, advocacy, and collaboration with local communities and global partners, EUL and academic staff work to provide supporting lifelong learning opportunities, and fostering innovation in teaching and learning and build a world where education is accessible to all, especially marginalized and vulnerable populations.
