He noted that students from the school, accompanied by their academic staff, regularly visit elderly residents in the Lefke region, monitor basic health indicators such as blood pressure, and provide support to promote their health and wellbeing. He further emphasized that students actively contribute to public health awareness by distributing informational brochures during special health-awareness events, such as the “World Kidney Day Awareness Event” organised every year by academicians, students and doctors and nurses from state hospitals, addressing topics such as kidney health and blood pressure management. The students distributed brochures to raise awareness of preventable health risks in the community.
