SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

What is SDG 12?

Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12) is dedicated to ensuring responsible consumption and production patterns. The United Nations aims to achieve sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources, minimize waste, and promote environmentally sound practices throughout the production and consumption lifecycle.

The United Nations’ Objectives

The United Nations envisions a world where consumption and production do not harm the environment, where resources are used efficiently, and where waste is minimized. SDG 12 addresses the need for sustainable practices in manufacturing, consumption, and waste management to ensure a healthier planet for current and future generations.
