What is SDG 7?
Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) is dedicated to ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. The United Nations aims to increase the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix and improve energy efficiency.
The United Nations’ Objectives
The United Nations envisions a world where everyone has access to clean and affordable energy, fostering economic development, improving health, and reducing environmental impact. SDG 7 addresses the need for expanding energy infrastructure, increasing the use of renewable energy sources, and promoting energy efficiency to create a sustainable and inclusive energy future.
