The Sustainability Committee of the European University of Lefke is the highest governing body responsible for overseeing and directing all sustainability initiatives within the institution. Led by the Vice Rector, the committee plays a pivotal role in shaping the university’s long-term sustainability strategy, ensuring that environmental, social, and economic considerations are integrated into university operations, policies, and academic programs. Its duties include setting sustainability goals, evaluating progress, coordinating sustainability efforts across various departments, and fostering collaboration between students, faculty, and external stakeholders. The committee is committed to advancing the European University of Lefke’s mission of sustainability and promoting a culture of environmental responsibility and social equity within the campus community.
