The Sustainability Office at EUL aims to lead, coordinate, and implement sustainability initiatives across campus and the broader university community. The office plays a critical role in advancing environmental, social, and economic sustainability, helping the university meet its sustainability goals and fostering a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders. The office coordinates all the units in the university regarding sustainability issues, promotes campus sustainability practices, writes sustainability reports, and raises awareness of sustainability challenges throughout the campus. As part of its commitment to a sustainable future, EUL has committed to reaching a carbon reduction target to achieve zero emissions for Scope 1 and 2 by no later than 2043 and committed to reaching net-zero by 2050. Through its work, the office fosters a culture of sustainability across the university and plays a vital role in shaping a sustainable future for the campus community and beyond, equipping students, faculty, and staff with the tools and knowledge to address global sustainability challenges.
